Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 10 Sec. 9087
- Manufactured housing: means a structural unit or units designed to be used as a dwelling or dwellings and constructed in a manufacturing facility and then transported by the use of its own chassis or placement on an independent chassis to a building site. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 10 Sec. 9002
- Manufactured housing community: means a parcel or adjoining parcel of land, under single ownership, that has been planned and improved for the placement of 3 or more manufactured homes, but does not include a construction camp. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 10 Sec. 9081
- Person: means an individual or entity, including but not limited to a corporation, partnership, firm, organization, company, homeowner, consumer or purchaser. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 10 Sec. 9002
Any person who operates any manufactured housing community without first obtaining a license as required by this subchapter is guilty of a Class E crime. Each day any such person operates the manufactured housing community without obtaining a license constitutes a separate offense. [PL 2017, c. 210, Pt. B, §36 (AMD).]
In the event of any violation of this subchapter or any rule adopted under this subchapter the Attorney General may seek to enjoin further violation thereof, in addition to any other remedy. [PL 1983, c. 553, §17 (NEW).]
