- Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
- Drug treatment center: means a facility as defined in Title 22, section 8001, which provides substance use disorder treatment. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 20-A Sec. 9701
- Eligible student: means any resident of the State between the ages of 5 and 20 years who is otherwise eligible for public schooling under this Title. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 20-A Sec. 9701
- in writing: include printing and other modes of making legible words. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 1 Sec. 72
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- Long-term treatment: means treatment in a drug treatment center designed to provide treatment for a period in excess of 60 days. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 20-A Sec. 9701
