Unless otherwise ordered by the court, directed by the principal or provided by a power of attorney, a custodian shall disclose to an agent with specific authority over digital assets or general authority to act on behalf of a principal a catalog of electronic communications sent or received by the principal and digital assets, other than the content of electronic communications, of the principal if the agent gives the custodian: [PL 2019, c. 417, Pt. - Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Power of attorney: A written instrument which authorizes one person to act as another's agent or attorney. The power of attorney may be for a definite, specific act, or it may be general in nature. The terms of the written power of attorney may specify when it will expire. If not, the power of attorney usually expires when the person granting it dies. Source: OCC

3. Agent’s certificate. A certification by the agent, under penalty of perjury, that the power of attorney is in effect; and

4. Information requested by custodian. If requested by the custodian:
A. A number, username, address or other unique subscriber or account identifier assigned by the custodian to identify the principal’s account; or [PL 2019, c. 417, Pt. A, §107 (NEW).]
