The federal Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978, 25 United States Code § 1901 et seq. and the Maine Indian Child Welfare Act govern all proceedings under this Article that pertain to an Indian child as defined in those Acts. [PL 2023, c. 359, §2 (AMD).]
