1. Every health maintenance organization subject to this chapter shall pay to the superintendent the following fees:
A. For filing an initial application for a certificate of authority, $500; [PL 1975, c. 503 (NEW).]

- Health maintenance organization: means a public or private organization that is organized under the laws of the Federal Government, this State, another state or the District of Columbia or a component of such an organization, and that:

2. Fees charged under this section shall be distributed as follows: 50% to the superintendent and 50% to the Commissioner of Health and Human Services.
