Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 35-A Sec. 2915
- Bonds: means bonds of the bank issued pursuant to this chapter. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 35-A Sec. 2903
- Chapter: means the Maine Public Utility Financing Bank Act. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 35-A Sec. 2903
- Notes: means any notes of the bank issued pursuant to this chapter. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 35-A Sec. 2903
All bonds and notes issued under this chapter are deemed to be held or issued in connection with essential public and governmental purposes and those bonds and notes so issued, their transfer and the income from them, including any profits made on their sale, are at all times exempt from taxation within the State.
