- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
The department shall submit the plan and subsequent revisions to the Governor and the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over natural resource matters. [PL 2011, c. 655, Pt. GG, §30 (AMD); PL 2011, c. 655, Pt. GG, §70 (AFF).]
