Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 8 Sec. 658
- Municipal officers: means the mayor and municipal officers or councilors of a city, the members of the select board or councilors of a town and the assessors of a plantation. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 1 Sec. 72
County commissioners within their counties and counties within their limits shall respectively exercise over unincorporated places all the powers of municipal officers and towns under chapters 20 to 25. [PL 2015, c. 148, §2 (AMD).]
