Under the Maine Revised Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:Class | Prison | Fine |

Class D crime | up to 1 year | up to $2,000 |
Any violation of this chapter shall constitute a violation of Title 5, chapter 10, the Unfair Trade Practices Act. [PL 1977, c. 488, §1 (NEW).]
