Terms Used In Maryland Code, AGRICULTURE 9-307
- County: means a county of the State or Baltimore City. See
- Person: includes an individual, receiver, trustee, guardian, personal representative, fiduciary, representative of any kind, corporation, partnership, business trust, statutory trust, limited liability company, firm, association, or other nongovernmental entity. See
- Prosecute: To charge someone with a crime. A prosecutor tries a criminal case on behalf of the government.
- state: means :
(1) a state, possession, territory, or commonwealth of the United States; or
(2) the District of Columbia. See
Upon request of the Secretary, the State‘s Attorney of the county in which the violation of this subtitle occurs shall prosecute the person accused of the violation.
