Terms Used In Maryland Code, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND CANNABIS 33-1004

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
(a) There is a Class D Ocean City municipal golf course beer, wine, and liquor license.

(b) (1) The Board may issue the license to the Mayor of Ocean City for on-premises consumption for use on the premises of the Ocean City municipal golf courses.

(2) A separate license is required for each Ocean City municipal golf course.

(c) (1) The license authorizes the license holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor for on-premises consumption 7 days a week on the premises of an Ocean City golf course.

(2) The license holder may contract with a concessionaire to sell beer, wine, and liquor for on-premises consumption.

(d) (1) Before the license is issued, the Mayor shall designate an individual to complete training in an alcohol awareness program approved under § 4-505 of this article.

(2) The individual designated by the Mayor shall:

(i) represent the concessionaire; and

(ii) be directly involved with the management of the sale of beer, wine, and liquor by the concessionaire.

(e) The license holder may sell beer, wine, and liquor:

(1) during the hours and days as set out for a Class D beer, wine, and liquor license under § 33-2005 of this title; or

(2) during fewer hours as specified by the license holder.

(f) The license:

(1) shall be issued and renewed without charge or an annual fee; and

(2) may not be transferred.
