Person: includes an individual, receiver, trustee, guardian, personal representative, fiduciary, representative of any kind, corporation, partnership, business trust, statutory trust, limited liability company, firm, association, or other nongovernmental entity. See

Except for a candidate, this title does not prohibit an individual who acts independently of any other person from:

(1) expressing personal views on any subject; or

(2) making an expenditure of personal funds to purchase campaign material.
