Terms Used In Maryland Code, ENVIRONMENT 7-202

state: means :

(1) a state, possession, territory, or commonwealth of the United States; or

(2) the District of Columbia. See
Statute: A law passed by a legislature.

This subtitle does not preempt any other authority conferred by statute on the Department of the Environment or any other department or agency of this State.
