Terms Used In Maryland Code, ENVIRONMENT 9-509

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • County: means a county of the State or Baltimore City. See
As provided in § 9-218 of this title, a county may finance in part the cost of preparing its county plan or any revision or amendment of its county plan.
