Terms Used In Maryland Code, PUBLIC UTILITIES 19-104

  • County: means a county of the State or Baltimore City. See
  • state: means :

    (1) a state, possession, territory, or commonwealth of the United States; or

    (2) the District of Columbia. See
A commissioner may not attempt to influence a county or State official in the conduct of the official’s duties for a purpose contrary to:

(1) this title; or

(2) the Maryland Public Ethics Law.
