Terms Used In Maryland Code > TRANSPORTATION > Title 16 > Subtitle 8 - Maryland Commercial Driver's License Act

  • Bail: Security given for the release of a criminal defendant or witness from legal custody (usually in the form of money) to secure his/her appearance on the day and time appointed.
  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
