Section 147C. Any article which is being manufactured or worked upon in a home in violation of any provision of sections one hundred and forty-four to one hundred and forty-seven H, inclusive, may be removed by the attorney general or his authorized representative and may be retained by him until claimed by the employer. The attorney general shall give notice, by registered mail, of such removal to the person whose name and address are affixed to the article, package or container as provided in section one hundred and forty-seven B. Unless the article so removed is claimed within thirty days following the giving of such notice, it may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of.
