Section 72. The supreme judicial or superior court shall have general jurisdiction of a civil action brought by the commissioner, to enforce any provisions of this chapter.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
In civil actions and court proceedings under any provision of this chapter which are entered by or in behalf of the commissioner no entry fee shall be paid, but if the commissioner shall prevail the equivalent of such entry fee shall be taxed against the adverse party as costs.
