Section 12. A court of the commonwealth may exercise personal jurisdiction over a nonresident or his executor or administrator as to an action or proceeding authorized by this chapter.

- Executor: A male person named in a will to carry out the decedent
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
