- Commissioner: means the Michigan film commissioner created in section 29b. See Michigan Laws 125.2029
- Council: means the Michigan film office advisory council created in section 29c. See Michigan Laws 125.2029
- Office: means the Michigan film office created in section 29a. See Michigan Laws 125.2029
- Person: means an individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, limited partnership, limited liability partnership, limited liability company, joint venture, profit or nonprofit corporation including a public or private college or university, public utility, municipality, local industrial development corporation, economic development corporation, other association of persons organized for agricultural, commercial, or industrial purposes, a lender, or any other entity approved by the board. (1) A person who is not an agent or employee of the office, commissioner, or council shall not represent that the person is an employee or agent of the office, commissioner, or council without the express authorization of the commissioner.
(2) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and may be imprisoned for not more than 93 days and shall be fined not more than $5,000.00.
