Terms Used In Michigan Laws 125.2323
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Commission: means the manufactured housing commission. See Michigan Laws 125.2302
- Mobile home: means a structure that is transportable in 1 or more sections, built on a chassis, and designed to be used as a dwelling, with or without a permanent foundation, when connected to the required utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, and electrical systems contained in the structure. A licensed mobile home dealer shall make and keep accounts, and other records as the commission prescribes by rule. The records required shall be preserved for 3 years unless the commission otherwise prescribes by rule for particular types of records. If the information contained in a record filed with the commission is or becomes inaccurate or incomplete in any material respect, the licensee promptly shall file a correcting amendment.
