Terms Used In Michigan Laws 129.261
- Authority: means the Michigan tobacco settlement finance authority created under section 4. See Michigan Laws 129.263
- Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the “Michigan tobacco settlement finance authority act”.
