Terms Used In Michigan Laws 141.1601
- Authority: means the Michigan settlement administration authority created under section 4. See Michigan Laws 141.1603
- Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the “Michigan settlement administration authority act”.
