(1) A person who violates this act shall be liable for a civil fine of not more than $500.00.
(2) A civil fine which is ordered pursuant to this act shall be submitted to the state treasurer for deposit in the general fund.
Terms Used In Michigan Laws 15.365
- Person: means an individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, association, or any other legal entity. See Michigan Laws 15.361
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.
