Terms Used In Michigan Laws 257.1710
- Racing event: means a motor vehicle race which is sanctioned by a nationally or internationally recognized racing organization, and includes preparations, practices, and qualifications for the race. See Michigan Laws 257.1702
A racing event held under this act and any action taken under section 6 and 7 shall not be considered to be a violation of Act No. 300 of the Public Acts of 1949, as amended, being section 257.1 to 257.923 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, or Act No. 368 of the Public Acts of 1925, as amended, being section 247.171 to 247.190 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.
