- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. The board of state auditors is hereby authorized and directed to solicit bids for the publication, electrotyping, printing, binding and sale of Michigan reports and of the advance sheets of Michigan reports, and to contract therefor in accordance with the provisions of this act.
