- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. Forthwith after the expiration of said 6 months period, the commissioner of the Michigan state police shall report to the state administrative board, listing the money or other property so recovered and held, and requesting authority from the state administrative board to turn any money over to the state treasurer to be credited to the general fund and requesting authority from the state administrative board to sell at public sale any other property so recovered and held.
