Terms Used In Michigan Laws 317.232

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     Any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not more than $100.00 or imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court. Any officer authorized to make arrest, including the state conservation officers, may arrest without warrant any person apprehended by them in the act of violating any of the provisions of this act.
