Terms Used In Michigan Laws 319.106
- Answer: The formal written statement by a defendant responding to a civil complaint and setting forth the grounds for defense.
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Person: means any natural person, corporation, association, partnership, receiver, trustee, judiciary or common law trust, guardian, executor, administrator or fiduciary of any kind. See Michigan Laws 319.102
Any person claiming to be interested in such lands may appear during the pendency of such suit and answer the bill of complaint and assert his rights by way of interplea. The court shall determine the rights of any person so appearing the same as though such person had been made a party in the first instance.
