A general court-martial has jurisdiction to try persons subject to this code for an offense made punishable by this code and may adjudge any of the following punishments:
(a) A fine of not more than $200.00 for a single offense.

- Dismissal: The dropping of a case by the judge without further consideration or hearing. Source:
- Grade: means a step or degree, in a graduated scale of office or military rank, that is established and designated as a grade by law or rule. See Michigan Laws 32.1002
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Officer: means a commissioned or warrant officer. See Michigan Laws 32.1002
(b) Forfeiture of pay and allowances of not more than $200.00 for a single offense.
(c) A reprimand.
(d) Dismissal or dishonorable discharge.
(e) Reduction of a noncommissioned officer to an inferior grade.
(f) A combination of the punishments under subdivisions (a) to (e).
