Terms Used In Michigan Laws 333.26314
- Person: means an individual, partnership, corporation, association, governmental entity, or other legal entity. See Michigan Laws 333.26311
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
A person who violates this act is responsible for a state civil infraction and shall be ordered to pay a civil fine as follows:
(a) Not more than $250.00 for a first offense.
(b) Not more than $500.00 for a second offense.
(c) Not more than $1,000.00 for a third or subsequent offense.
