Terms Used In Michigan Laws 339.2211
- Landscape architect: means a person qualified to engage in the practice of landscape architecture as provided in this article. See Michigan Laws 339.2201
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, as well as to individuals. See Michigan Laws 8.3l
A person shall not use or advertise the title “landscape architect” or any title or description tending to convey the impression that he or she is a landscape architect unless he or she is licensed under this article. This article does not restrict the use of the titles “landscape gardener”, “landscape contractor”, “landscape designer”, or “landscape operator”.
