- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. During normal business hours, a licensee shall allow any authorized representative of the department to enter any of its places of business in this state and inspect any document or record that the department determines is reasonably necessary for an investigation of the licensee or a review of the business activities of the licensee, the administration of this act, or the administrative rules promulgated under this article.
