  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
    (1) From the state school aid fund money appropriated in section 11, there is allocated for 2023-2024 only an amount not to exceed $450,000.00 to Shiawassee Regional ESD to support the construction of a career technical education center or pupil transportation services for students enrolled in the constituent districts.
    (2) As used in this section, “constituent district” means that term as defined in section 3 of the revised school code, MCL 380.3.
    (3) Notwithstanding section 17b, the department shall make payments under this section on a schedule determined by the department.
