- Center: means the center for educational performance and information created in section 94a. See Michigan Laws 388.1837b
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
By October 15 of each year, a public university receiving funds in section 236 shall provide its longitudinal data system data set for the preceding academic year to the center for inclusion in the statewide P-20 longitudinal data system described in section 94a. If the state budget director finds that a university has not complied with this section, the state budget director is authorized to withhold the monthly installments provided to that university under section 241 until he or she finds the university has complied with this section.
