- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. By March 1 of each year, the Michigan Association of State Universities shall provide a listing of new degree programs for which enrollment information will be reported to HEIDI under section 241 and 289, as well as a listing of degree programs that institutions of higher education will no longer offer in subsequent academic years, to the house and senate appropriations subcommittees on higher education, the house and senate fiscal agencies, and the state budget director.
