Terms Used In Michigan Laws 390.1555
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, as well as to individuals. See Michigan Laws 8.3l
- Public university or college: means a university, college, or community college established under section 5, 6, or 7 of article VIII of the state constitution of 1963. See Michigan Laws 390.1552
This act does not limit the ability of a person employed by or under contract to a public university or college to engage in lawful projects independent of a public university or college, or prohibit such a person from disclosing information regarding those independent projects or from receiving pecuniary income from those independent projects.
