  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     The state library is hereby authorized to accept, and use, federal funds for library construction under the provisions of Title II, P.L. 88-269, subject to the approval of the department of administration. A detailed report shall be submitted to the legislature not later than January 31 of each year.
