Terms Used In Michigan Laws 445.117
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Home solicitation sale: means a sale of goods or services of more than $25. See Michigan Laws 445.111
- Person: means an individual, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, association, governmental entity, or other legal entity. See Michigan Laws 445.111
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
No person may bring any action in any court of this state for the collection of any home solicitation sale contract without proving that such person was at all times in compliance with this act.
