- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. There is hereby established a committee of 3 persons who are not public officers to be officially known as the governor’s citizens committee on consumer affairs. The members of this committee shall be appointed by the governor for 2-year terms to coincide with the terms of office of state representatives.
