- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
It shall be lawful for any such municipal corporation to appropriate, by a vote of its common council, or other governing body, to any such corporation, moneys for the uses and purposes of such corporation.
