Terms Used In Michigan Laws 458.25

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • United States: shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     Said church, when so organized, shall be subject in all matters of church government and ecclesiastical polity to the discipline, usage and ministerial appointments of the Methodist Episcopal church in the United States of America, as from time to time authorized and declared by the general conference of said church and the annual conference within whose bounds such corporation may be situated.
