Terms Used In Michigan Laws 480.24
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
- State civil infraction: means that term as defined in section 113 of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600. See Michigan Laws 480.11a
A state civil infraction shall be enforced in the manner provided for enforcement of state civil infractions in chapter 88 of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.8801 to 600.8835.
