Terms Used In Michigan Laws 500.3115
- Motor vehicle: means a vehicle, including a trailer, that is operated or designed for operation on a public highway by power other than muscular power and has more than 2 wheels. See Michigan Laws 500.3101
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, as well as to individuals. See Michigan Laws 8.3l
Except as provided in section 3114(1), a person who suffers accidental bodily injury while not an occupant of a motor vehicle shall claim personal protection insurance benefits under the assigned claims plan under section 3171 to 3175.
