  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
     A nonprofit health care corporation is subject to section 619 of the nonprofit health care corporation reform act, 1980 PA 350, MCL 550.1619.
