Terms Used In Michigan Laws 500.3959
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Policy: means that term as defined in section 3901. See Michigan Laws 500.3957
- Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
Pursuant to section 6021 of the deficit reduction act of 2005, Public Law 109-171, and section 112c of the social welfare act, 1939 PA 280, MCL 400.112c, this chapter applies to a long-term care partnership program policy. The applicable sections of chapter 39 also apply to a long-term care partnership program policy.
