Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

Section 2212c of the insurance code of 1956, 1956 PA 218, MCL 500.2212c, applies to a health care corporation.
