- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. Notwithstanding section 410a(8), for a certificate delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed in this state on or after January 1, 2014, the premium for a group conversion certificate under section 410a shall be determined only by using the rating factors set forth in section 3474a of the insurance code of 1956, 1956 PA 218, MCL 500.3474a.
