Terms Used In Michigan Laws 565.352
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
If any such contract be executed in any other state, district or territory, the same shall be executed and acknowledged in the same manner as provided in section 9 of chapter 150 of the Compiled Laws of 1871, for the execution of deeds in any other state, district, or territory.
