Terms Used In Michigan Laws 600.1099d
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Juvenile mental health court: means all of the following:
(i) A court-supervised treatment program for juveniles who are diagnosed by a mental health professional with having a serious emotional disturbance, co-occurring disorder, or developmental disability. See Michigan Laws 600.1099b
A juvenile mental health court shall hire, contract, or work in conjunction with mental health professionals, in consultation with the local community mental health service provider, and other such appropriate persons to assist the juvenile mental health court in fulfilling its requirements under this chapter.
